In November of 2022, I had an opportunity to start a business that would help people achieve their goals in Fitness while helping them to have confidence in whom God created them to be. I've always had a passion for assisting individuals in any way possible and guiding them in their fitness journeys while encouraging them and motivating them to grow in their faith or by giving them that extra push to help them reach their goals. My ultimate goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle that encompasses mental, spiritual, and physical well-being so that people can cherish every moment of their lives, That God has given us and to help equip them to do whatever they are called to do.

My ultimate goal through my business is to help people believe Whether you believe you can reach your goal or not, always have faith that you can.

All Glory Goes to God, and I thank him every day for this opportunity to be able to help and love people, the way he did for us.

Certified Fitness Trainer and Founder

My name is Damien Codemo, and I am the founder of Train with Faith Fitness and Shop Walk with Faith with a mission to promote the Jesus movement through our business. I have had a diverse range of employment experiences throughout my life, including working in a clothing store, warehouse jobs, and working at a gym. However, my passion lies in health and fitness and help serving people in any way I can.

I have been a personal trainer and fitness coach for four years. I first became interested in fitness to challenge myself and see how far I could push my body. I joined boxing while doing weight training, and eventually started training clients and running fitness classes like Bootcamp, Body Pump, Boxing, and High-Intensity Hit Training. I have always been passionate about exercise and bettering myself in any way possible.

Over the years, I have obtained a few certificates through study to enhance my knowledge and learn as much as possible. I am constantly striving to expand my knowledge and plan to acquire additional certificates in the near future.

Education

2019-2021

Certificate 3 in Fitness

Australian Training Company

During my Certificate 3 in fitness, we learned about the human body, various training techniques and how to instruct a class to suit everyone's needs. We were also taught how to train individuals with different health conditions and injuries. One crucial aspect of the certification was learning how to create a safe, effective, and enjoyable class for participants.

As part of the Practical assignment, we were required to conduct several classes.

2021-2022

Certificate 4 in Fitness
Australian Training Company

During my Certificate IV in Fitness, we learned and broke down various training methods and delved into the advanced side of exercise science and personal training. We were taught how to schedule an effective training program and utilize different methods to enhance training progress with one on one training suit everyone's needs. We study the role of nutrition in improving training and advancing progress to suit clients needs. We were taught how to program in order to meet people's needs and assist them in achieving their goals in a safe and effective manner.

During the practical, we were required to train several clients.

Les Mills Body Pump Certificate

Les Mills

In the Les Mills Body Pump course, we gained knowledge on how to effectively instruct a class and break down training using motivational techniques.In addition, we have gained the ability to clearly and concisely explain the proper techniques for exercises, making it easy for participants to follow. We also understand the reasons behind the specific execution of each exercise.

During the practical session, we were tasked with instructing a well-executed class. Our performance was judged on our ability to explain techniques, maintain proper structure, and exhibit overall physical fitness.

Personal Development, Health and Physical Education

During my studies in Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education, I learned about various aspects of growth including intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development. It taught me how to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle and enhance their well-being by regular exercise and nutrition. We learned about the human body, various training methods, health-related fitness, and how emotions affect people's responses. A significant component of this subject was understanding fitness and exercise, as well as creating effective plans and programs to achieve optimal results.

Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation

Through my studies in Sports, Lifestyle, and Recreation, I acquired knowledge in resistance training, coaching and training, conducting group sessions, and promoting overall healthy living. A significant aspect of this field was learning about athletes and utilizing skill-related and health-related fitness to enhance their abilities and skills in the game.

During the First Aid session, we were taught how to provide assistance during emergencies and how to provide aid in case of injuries during a training session.

During the Community Officiating General Principles, we learnt to aid officials in acquiring the fundamental skills necessary to officiate efficiently.
